One page per class, newest at the top of your teacher’s list: the agenda we followed and anything to do before next time. Away? Start here, run the warm-up yourself, and attempt the build before reading anything about it — the page holds the plan, but the ideas earn their names in the room.
Our semester runs in four units:
- Unit 1 — How Computers Think: unplugged algorithms, hardware, and software — The Algorithm Field Guide and The Device Recommendation.
- Unit 2 — First Programs: Python, variables, and conditionals, ending in The Quiz Machine.
- Unit 3 — Programs with Power: loops, subprograms, and debugging as a craft — The Remix Project, then the start of The Innovation Brief.
- Unit 4 — Technology and Us: security, AI, bias, and innovation — finishing The Innovation Brief, then Launch Day.
